About
Built by the band,
for the band
Yeep Records is a new kind of artist-led label. It exists so that the people who make the music also own it, release it, and answer to nobody else about it.
Why
Doing it your own way
The label was set up by the four members of The Spirographs to put out their own records. Not as a formality on the back of a sleeve, but as the real thing: a registered UK company with a catalogue, a release schedule and a front door for anyone who needs to reach it.
The reason is simple. When the band owns the label, there is no A&R, no notes from upstairs and no compromise on the mix. Songs get recorded the way they were written, and released when they are ready. It is for anyone who still believes in real songs, real sounds and doing it your own way.
We are not chasing trends. We are putting out music we actually care about.
Who
Run by the people who make the records
Yeep is founded and run by The Spirographs. There is no office and no staff; there is a band who decided to own the whole thing.

Where
Burntwood and Bristol
The label lives between two places: Burntwood in Staffordshire and Bristol. The records are made between the two as well, written, played, engineered and produced by the band.
Yeep is not a shop and not a streaming service. Music is heard on the artist's own site and on the usual platforms; this site is where you find out who is on the label and how to reach it.
